Our SnapMag case is not required, but it is highly recommended for the best experience.
In each SnapMount box, you will receive 1x SnapMag Ring. This is a magnetic ring that you should place on the outside of either your phone or phone case, so it can be in direct contact with the SnapMount. This is required for your phone to magnet onto the mount if you do not have the iPhone 12 series.
Our SnapMag case range has this ring built into the case, and therefore you will not have to use the SnapMag ring.
